Terror at the Temple: Advancing Religious Tolerance in the Aftermath of a Tragedy

The NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief invites you to a presentation on “Terror at the Temple: Advancing Religious Tolerance in the Aftermath of a Tragedy.” This event will be held  Thursday, Sept. 20, 1:30-3:00 p.m., at 866 UN Plaza, office of the Bahá’í International Community (suite 120).

Hardayal Singh, Director for International Civil and Human Rights Advocacy at the United Sikhs, will discuss the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin and its aftermath in the context of freedom of religion or belief and the promotion of religious and racial tolerance. There will also be a short video about the response work done by United Sikhs with regards to the Wisconsin tragedy.
