The NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, January 22, featuring Sheikha Alya Ahmed Seif Al-Thani, who serves as the Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations for Qatar.

NOTE: due to inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled. 

The Ambassador will speak on an upcoming conference in Qatar, as well as other initiatives by her country, to promote interfaith cooperation and freedom of religion or belief.

This event will take place Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Bahá’í International Community United Nations Office, located at 866 UN Plaza (Suite 120), New York, NY 10017.
